Administrator Role

The Administrator Role is a default role created as part of the Prospero installation. The Administrator Role has all permissions granted by default and cannot be modified or deleted by any other Administrator of the system. In addition, any user who has permission to Administer Security may not grant themselves more permissions than they have been granted. In short, users may not modify permissions on the Role to which they belong.

The Administrator Role requires a Power User license.

Note: Prospero’s budgeting, reporting and budgeting, and financial reporting with currency management capabilities are specifically licensed modules of the Prospero application. You must have the appropriate license applied within Prospero for this functionality to be active. In addition, multi-currency (managing currency definitions) is a standard Prospero feature that allows use of already-translated GL data within Prospero. Basic report generation capabilities are delivered as part of budgeting-only. However, data integrations are not available as part of this module.
