After creating your Input Definition, you can open the input set by:
1. Selecting the Open Input button on the Input Definition tab.
Or, you can also select the Open Input option on the Input Tools Definition navigation bar.
2. Selecting Open Input will open a window prompting you to define the segment parameters of the data to report on (i.e., which department to choose). Select the ellipsis button to open the Select dialog.
For the plan you created as part
of this Quick Start introduction, enter the following for each Segment Prompt
value.
3. Select the OK button to open the plan for data input.
After the input set is opened, you can add data to your plan. For more information see the topic, Budget Input.
You can re-open the plan using different parameters by selecting the Re-open Input button on the context ribbon.
