Prospero Budgeting is a robust budgeting, forecasting and analysis tool which, when licensed as such, is fully integrated with Prospero Financial Reporting.
Once you have established your Prospero® security, users and, if necessary, currency translation, you are ready to set up your Prospero Budgeting. As with its financial reporting capabilities, Prospero uses Building Blocks as the basic elements – Lines, Columns, Trees, and their associated calculations - to create budgets.
This section will focus on creating Prospero Input Definitions for budget setup. For more information on creating Line, Column, or Tree Definitions within the entity for either reporting or budgeting – refer to the section on Building Blocks.
