The Security Tools Definition context ribbon in the Prospero application contains the specific features which allow Administrators to manage user accounts and role groups, map to entities, change licenses, and maintain segment assignments. This ribbon will appear whenever you define a new or modify an existing role or user account in the User Definition workspace.
The options and features available on this ribbon include:
• Add User – Allows you to create a new User in Prospero.
• Add Role – Allows you to create a new Role in Prospero.
• Delete – Allows you to delete a Prospero User or Role.
• Show/Hide Full Name – Toggles the display of the user’s full name within the User Tree
• Rename – Allows you to rename a Prospero User or Role.
• Change Password – Allows you to change a user account’s password.
• Require Password Change – Allows you to require all members of a Role to change their password the next time they log in to Prospero
• Change License Type – Allows you to modify the license type associated to a Prospero User. For more information see the section on Change License Type Screen.
• Licenses - Displays an informational screen showing all users, associated license type per user, and last login/logout information per user.
• Entity Mapping – Allows you to specify the entities, or organizations, a Prospero User has access to.
• Assignments – Allows you to specify the segments a Prospero User has access to.
Note: To access the User Definition feature in Prospero, you must log in to the entity using a login ID with permission to Administer Security and Maintain Users and Roles.
