The Detail Type field allows you to specify the type of transactional data attribute to show on transactions in a report’s detail-level drill down. This field is only active when the Type field selection is “Detail”.
When active, you can select which attribute informational type to show from a list of GL transactional attributes. To select the attribute type, click on the ellipsis button in the Detail Type field
Options include:
•Batch – This will show the transaction’s associated batch id for the transaction listed in a report’s detail level drill down.
•Reference– This will show the transaction’s associated reference number or value for the transaction listed in a report’s detail level drill down.
•Source ID – This will show the transaction’s associated source id value for the transaction listed in a report’s detail level drill down.
Additionally, Prospero supports custom detail fields as hyperlinks for drill through to supporting transactional information (in addition to drill down to transactions). For more information on configuring this option, contact MSX Group support.
Note: To view this information, you must also select the Include transaction details option on your Report Definition or at runtime. (Also, Detail Type labels will default to the code as the label until an integration process is run making the appropriate labels available from the General Ledger.)
