Running a Report Collection

Report Collection Definitions can be run either from the Report Collections Navigation Pane or by opening the item from the Report Collections Navigation Pane and then selecting the Run Collection option.

To run a Report Collection:

1.  Click on the Report Collections bar to open the Report Collections Navigation Pane.

2.  Select the Report Collection Definition to run.

3.  Click on the Run the Report Collection  icon. Conversely, you can double-click on the Report Collection Definition to open it and then select the Run Collection button:

If the Report Collection is currently opened by with another user, the collection will be read-only. In this event, you may wish to run the collection using the Navigation Pane option.

4.  Your reports will execute and be returned to your selected output option.

Note: Your collection’s reports must have the prompt parameters defined on the Report Definition. Otherwise, you will receive the following error message and the report cannot be returned.

In addition, you must have the appropriate Assignments and Visibility granted for the reports included in the collection. For more information refer those sections.
