Trees

Trees are used to define automatic totals, or summary values, for groups of items within a segment. Trees can be used on a report to define a drill-down path or to run the report consolidating different areas of the organization in a specific way.

 

While reports or budget plans can be run without using trees, once they are defined, trees easily and automatically maintain your summary data and reflect any updates to your segment information – either through the import or integration processes.
