Prospero allows you to enter data for various plan types, whether monthly budgets and forecasts, or multi-year or quarterly plans. As part of your Budget Setup, you will establish your budget’s Input Definition, which contains the time periods and accounts for your plans. Your Input Definition will reference a Column Definition to define your periods and a Line Definition which will establish your various segment (i.e. Natural account) information.

The Input Definition also manages how you or other Prospero users will input budget data via the Data Input Workspace. In your Input Definitions, you can specify various specialized data or view settings, override calculations and other associated settings depending on what your plan requires.
